ORGANIZATIONAL MEETING

Bill Holloway nominated Bill Reynolds for Chairperson of the Supervisors, MaryAnna Ralph seconded the motion - motion carried. MaryAnna Ralph nominated Bill Holloway for Vice-Chairperson, Bill Reynolds seconded the motion, motion carried. Bill Reynolds announced the following appointments:

Kathleen Howley - Manager/Secretary/Treasurer

Russell Drumheller - Code Enforcement Officer - Ben Cialini as alternate

Matt Houtmann - Township Engineer

Township Newsletter - Shirley Christenson

Substitute Secretary - Lula Mae Sears

The regular meeting was called to order by Mr. Reynolds and the minutes approved as submitted.

MANAGER REPORT

Kathleen Howley reported the following:

Asked Dave Patten to check into an amended plan for the two lots in Courts at Longwood which now have separate driveways.

Joe Grace has submitted an application for a zoning hearing board for his property at Fairville Road and Rt. 1 to be used to sell antiques and various other merchandise. This will be scheduled.

Will write a letter to the Hillendale School regarding their recently erected sign. Complaints have been received regarding the appropriateness of such a sign in a residential area. Mr. Cialini reported that he will contact Mr. McFadden about the sign for the Gables Restaurant. It cannot be internally lit. He will also contact Mr. Ciccarone regarding the signage on the Brandywine building which must come down since it is in violation of our ordinances.

Mr. Megill has requested a release from escrow funds for Chandler Ridge since 18 months has gone by. Mr. Houtmann will make a final inspection before funds are released. Mr.

Houtmann will also make a final inspection of the Whitestone Development and report to

the Board.

There will be a meeting with Sunoco regarding signage at their store at Rts. 926 & 52 on Friday, January 8th at noon in the township building.

CODE ENFORCEMENT

Mr. Cialini reported he had issued 1 building and zoning permit during December and Rusty Drumheller had issued 3 zoning and building permits. Mr. Patten will contact PennDot regarding the D'Angelo property on Rt. 926 with regard to the right of way negotiations.

EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT - Reese Reynolds reported there was another accident on the "S" curve. He also stated that the County Emergency Management had contacted him with an update on the bad weather we had this past weekend.

CHADDS PEAK

Mr. Riper was present to discuss with the Board their position they may take for the upcoming Zoning Hearing Board meeting. Mr. Riper represents Mr. Geewax, prospective buyer of the property. Mr. Riper stated that in order to get tax consideration for the easement, it must not be tied to the upcoming hearing. The Board has the following concerns

There will be an executive session with the Supervisors and Mr. Patten at 4 P.M. on Jan. 7th to further discuss this subject before the hearing takes place.

OLD BUSINESS - The Board agreed to a 3% wage increase for Mr. Allen effective immediately.

A bill list numbering 862-889, State Fund #112 was submitted and approved for payment by the Board. With no further business the meeting adjourned at 10:30 P.M.
