The Board of Supervisors of Pennsbury Township held a regular meeting on Tuesday, July 6, 1999. All members were present and the minutes approved as corrected.

MANAGER REPORT

Ms. Howley reported Mr. Allen will not be in attendance but the road crew are continuing to mow banks. Micro surfacing of roads were done last week and it went well. Rusty Drumheller issued a cease and desist for land disturbance without a permit on the Orenshaw property, 32 Stirling Way, Chadds Ford, PA on Tuesday, July 6, 1999. Mr. Orenshaw was also advised he cannot move dirt on his Hillendale Road property because of the existing injunction. The written documents for the cease and desist will be mailed certified to Mr. Orenshaw on July 7th and the properties posted.

Emergency Management - Reese Reynolds reported people are making left turns on Rt. 1 near the Gables Restaurant going through the yellow barriers prohibiting this turn. One was observed by a delivery truck coming out of the restaurant onto Rt. 1.

CLARK DRIVEWAY

Messrs. Clark and Bowersox were present to discuss the revised version of a proposed driveway for Mr. Bowersox. The property is located off of Hickory Hill Road and Mr. Clark is the builder. Comments have been received from Pennoni, township engineer on this project, regarding the new version. After much discussion the Board advised Mr. Clark that our engineer should work with their engineer to explore options for the driveway that would not have a slope greater than 20%.

With no further discussion the supervisors voted to oppose the application as submitted. However, if the "Y" were to consider only a summer camp, they would like to see certain restrictions imposed by the Zoning Hearing Board which will be submitted at the hearing. The Board will get with Dave Patten to formulate this list and incorporate the Planning Commission suggestions. Mr. Holloway read the Planning Commission suggestions to all present and copies were handed out.

Bayard Taylor Library now has a "drop box" located at the township building for anyone to return books and video. This will be highlighted in the next newsletter.

A bill list dated July 6, 1999 numbering 1225-1243 was submitted and approved for payment by the Board.

With no further business the meeting adjourned at 10:15 P.M.

Respectfully submitted:

Kathleen Howley
