The Board of Supervisors of Pennsbury Township held a regular meeting on Monday, February 3, 2003. Messrs. Reynolds, Patten, Karen Wood and Kathleen Howley were

present and the minutes approved as submitted.

Manager Kathleen Howley reported the following:

The CCATO Spring convention will be held March 6th in Exton. The supervisors, manager and solicitor will attend.

The newsletter will be going out to all residents by the end of this month. April 26th will be Clean Up Day and the township yard sale.

The township supervisors and planning commission members did meet on January 27th in an executive session to discuss land lease of real property. The supervisors will meet with land trust members on Wednesday, February 5th

at 7:30 a.m. to discuss a possible open space referendum. The township held a

planning seminar with planning commission members and the supervisors on

February 1st at the township building.

The as builts for the Span property - Matt stated his firm will be working on this.

Roadmaster Dave Allen reported that he had received a quote from Signal Service to install LED lenses at Ponds Edge & Route 1 in the amount of $4250. He recommends this intersection be the first one to have this installed since it is the oldest one in the township.

Engineer Matt Houtmann reported the following:

1. Dawson Mill - submitted copies of specs for the dredging of the mill. Provided three alternatives. Matt will speak with Rob Howard and then proceed to advertise for bid opening on March 17th. He is awaiting word from the Corp for permits.

Old/New Business

Ms. Howley reported Rusty Drumheller advised the township the conversion of the Walls barn into a residence must go before the zoning hearing board because of change of use of a non-conforming structure.

Berlin escrow extension has not been returned to the township. Matt Houtmann recommends the amount retained is $77,000. Tim Umbreit will start the audit of township records for 2002 this week.

A sidewalk ordinance was advertised for adoption. With no further discussion the ordinance was signed. We have notified our insurance carrier that the deductibles, where applicable, should be $10,000. They are in the process of updating our records. This can be reviewed again at the end of the year.

A bill list dated February 3, 2003 numbering 4168-4190, PLGIT 156, State Fund #172 was submitted and approved for payment by the board.

With no further business the meeting adjourned at 8:40 p.m.
